A great Vivian Maier image. She was an amateur photographer who shot as a hobby mainly in the 1950s and 60s in Chicago. She nannied for a family in the north Chicago suburbs, and prolifically took photos for decades. Most of her work was completely unknown until her death, when her storage locker was sold off and the immensity of her work REALLY came to light. I'm really looking forward to seeing her work at the Chicago Cultural Center in January. Click HERE for info.
